Welcoming Mondays

It is that time of the week again

When I religiously crib and cry in pain

Mondays come fast, no matter what you try in vain

Sigh! Get ready immortal soldiers to yet again get slain!

Tides

Like the deep blue tide 
awaiting to rush ashore -

That gets pushed back - 
hitting rocks, proud with scorn

We too keep moving - 
dragging feet torn and sore

For we are destined to keep walking, 
from the moment we were born.

People

There are certain souls you miss in life

Others, at intervals, just disappear -

If I take my count, I'm not surprised

There are few being missed, most never appear!

Angry lanes

A word out of context

Is all it takes to displace

The faith built over years

And the love too! What a disgrace!

Memories are erased with ease

Like rain drops in the sea

Unfinished walks give way to

Unexplored ones to start again.

Patient love

Alarm bells ring

I choose to ignore

When patience stand tested

With love I overcome.

Give me patience

And abundant love

For I am the provider

And to provide, I live.
